COMMUNITY
To build community connection, on both side of the borders to the IPCA, the Community Pillar will focus on:
Protecting and establishing land space for ceremony;
Revitalizing Peskotomuhkati language through connections to land;
Promoting land-based healing by protecting land for the next seven generations and beyond and honouring the seven teachings;
Investing in community youth by providing job and learning opportunities;
Developing intergenerational land-based programming connecting Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and Youth.

PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
The main principles of the Public Engagement pillar are to advocate for Indigenous rights and ensure that the public is aware of continued social justice efforts and the intersectionality of environmental protection.
In addition to advocating for our rights, the public engagement pillar includes strategic communications via social media, print media, and news outlets.

ECONOMIC STABILITY
Economic Stability includes establishing effective and detailed funding strategies, focusing on grant writing, and fundraising strategies, and facilitating donations from the public.
Economic stability includes ensuring staff are compensated fairly and equitably, support for Earth Protectors, the protection of more property in the territory, and expanding the office to meet the needs of growing objectives.
There are opportunities for social enterprises and income generation around recreation, carbon markets, and eco-tourism that we would like to explore to ensure that we can protect our lands and waters.
